Saneg has completed the implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS), combining international standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, and ISO 45001:2018. This decision ensures comprehensive management of quality, environmental safety, and occupational health across all stages of production.
ISO 9001 regulates quality management systems and helps improve process efficiency and customer service. ISO 14001 confirms the presence of an environmental management system aimed at reducing environmental impact and ensuring the rational use of natural resources. ISO 45001 sets requirements for occupational health and industrial safety, reducing the risks of injuries and occupational diseases, while improving productivity and strengthening the company’s business reputation.
The integration of the three standards into a single system eliminated process and document duplication, simplified interdepartmental interaction, and made management more transparent. This approach shortens the timeframe for introducing new procedures, reduces labor costs, and creates a holistic system of planning and control.
To obtain certification, 20 Saneg employees completed international training, ensuring that the standards are maintained in practice.
“Today, Saneg is the only company in Uzbekistan’s oil and gas sector to have implemented an Integrated Management System. The unification of three international standards ensures consistency of actions within the company, raises the level of quality, safety, and environmental protection, and creates conditions for sustainable development”, - emphasized Azizbek Nazarov, Deputy General Director for Strategic Project Development.
The next step within the framework of the corporate ESG policy will be preparation for certification under ISO 50001 (Energy Management), aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and ensuring the rational use of energy resources.
