In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, adopted on 15 December 2019 - “On measures to further increase oil production from fields with hard-to-recover reserves and the volume of hydrocarbon processing” our company is the executor of the Oil Production Enhancement Program.

Saneg has been assigned rights to 103 oil and gas fields, with the corresponding registration of licences, to use subsoil plots for geological exploration and mining.

Saneg accounts for c. 80% of [Uzbekistan’s] oil production and c. 22% of proven gas reserves. The total volume of oil production in 2022 was 586,4 tons and 1.5 billion m3 of gas.  

The company employs over 10,000 employees. Production facilities are located in Karshi, Mubarek , Andijan, Navoi and Ustyurt.

The company produces oil and gas, and processes raw materials into high value-added products such as gasoline, diesel, motor oil, aviation kerosene and several other products. Processing is carried out at the Fergana Oil Refinery, which has been part of Saneg since May 2022. Fuel is sold through retail networks of the company's partners throughout Uzbekistan. In 2022, on the domestic market, the company sold over 320,000 tons of diesel fuel and 250,000 tons of gasoline of various grades.
