Saneg launches retail service station brand in Tashkent

Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (Saneg), Uzbekistan's largest privately-held oil and gas company, has opened its first own-brand service station in the city of Tashkent and 20th in Uzbekistan, in a major step in its plans for a nation-wide retail network.

"The opening of the first petrol station in Tashkent is an important step in the development of our nationwide network and in our evolution from primary producer to full-service vertically integrated energy company,”  said Shohjahon Ahmadov, manager of the Saneg retail network. “We strive to provide quality services and expand opportunities for motorists, meeting modern requirements."

The new outlet, which includes a coffee shop and retail store, is built to service up to 1,300 vehicles per day, and offers a full range of petrol grades plus diesel fuel together with Saneg-branded lubricants made at the company’s specialist facility in Italy. It also includes a charging station for electric vehicles.

The station is Saneg’s 20th thus far, amidst current plans to build 50 outlets across Uzbekistan by the end of 2025, including several multimodal complexes which will include gas compression stations.

Saneg is also developing its own network of fuel storage terminals. At present it has five terminals, with plans for four more by the end of 2025.
