SEG Motol Launches a New Line of Automotive Antifreezes on the Uzbek Market

SEG Motol, the lubricants business operator of Saneg, has launched the production of a new line of antifreezes for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. For this purpose, a specialized production unit has been established at the Fergana Oil Refinery, where modern equipment has been commissioned to ensure a dedicated blending and filling process for technical fluids, fully independent from motor oil production.

SEG Motol antifreezes are produced on the basis of high-quality monoethylene glycol, which ensures efficient heat dissipation from engine components and assemblies. The formulations use European additive packages that protect the cooling system against corrosion and cavitation. All products in the range retain their performance properties at temperatures down to -40 °C.

The product range comprises three products: Antifreeze Carbo G12+, Antifreeze Silo G11, and Antifreeze HD.

Antifreeze Carbo G12+ is manufactured using Organic Acid Technology (OAT) with organic acids - carboxylates. This approach provides protection of the cooling system through targeted action at corrosion initiation points, preventing deposit formation and extending the service life of the coolant.

Antifreeze Silo G11 is a coolant based on silicates and organic additives, designed for modern passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Its action is based on the formation of a uniform protective layer on the internal surfaces of the cooling system, which reduces the risk of corrosion and deposit formation.

Antifreeze HD has been developed for cooling systems of diesel trucks, including highly loaded and high-performance engines (SHPD). A specialized additive package ensures protection of metals and alloys against cavitation, which is particularly important for engines with wet cylinder liners.

“The antifreeze formulations were developed jointly with our European partners. When working on the product, we focused on the requirements of leading global automakers, while also setting the objective of offering a high-quality and affordable product for consumers in Uzbekistan. Each product brings us closer to our goal of maximally meeting the needs of our customers - both corporate clients and the growing community of private motorists”, - said Bakhtiyor Asatullayev, Director of SEG Motol.
