Fergana Oil Refinery improves the process of accounting and movement of personnel

Last week, the integration testing of the SAP HCM system was completed at the Ferghana Refinery. The module is designed to manage the human capital of large enterprises and is part of the SAP ecosystem.

The SAP HCM module also allows one to get all the necessary information about the organizational structure of the enterprise at any time for any period of time, which allows the optimization of the process of accounting and movement of the enterprise's personnel and significantly reduce labour costs for providing personnel administration. The testing of the module was carried out in order to check the conformity of the design solutions with the final expectations of internal customers. As a result of testing, a decision was made on the further operation of the system.

One feature of functional testing was that its implementation was carried out not only in the “screen demonstration” format, but also with the ability to let users get acquainted with the system on their own and take the first steps to enter operations in test mode.

Testing was organized jointly with specialists from LeverX, a software solution integrator. The testing perimeter included such areas as organizational management, personnel administration, time tracking and payroll.

“It is extremely important to properly organize the change management process as part of the implementation of SAP ERP solutions. My colleagues from Lever-X and I tried to cover all the difficult moments as much as possible, so that users switch to an automated solution with maximum comfort. I am sure that this will serve as an incentive for further integration of other SAP modules at the FOR, related to production,” said Natalya Vasilievna Alshanikova, Deputy Director for Automation of Business Processes at the FOR.

The first steps in using the SAP system by users showed that the program helps to improve current business processes, store information in one digital space, and also increase the level of knowledge of enterprise specialists.
