On September 26 of this year, Tulkin Yusupov, who previously held the position of Deputy CEO, assumed the role of CEO of IP LLC Sanoat Energetika Guruhi. On the occasion of his appointment, he addressed employees of Saneg and its subsidiaries, sharing plans for asset development in the near future.
“Today, Sanoat Energetika Guruhi is one of the region’s largest full-cycle oil and gas companies with a scope of activities throughout Uzbekistan. The Saneg project portfolio extends widely, and aims to achieve our strategic goals regarding sustainable development of the country's fuel and energy industry.” Yusupov said. “Naturally, we measure our success by operating indicators and quality of products. At the same time, for the long term, we prioritize the principles of transparency, efficiency, constructive dialogue between involved stakeholders and social responsibility.”
He further noted that the company has undertaken responsibility for the implementation of projects important for Uzbekistan, including increasing oil production by 2030 and modernizing the Fergana oil refinery, among others.
In his opinion, along with the results already achieved in increasing the daily production of liquid hydrocarbons and boosting gas output, Saneg needs to monetize the transformation of raw materials into a liquid finished products accessible not only to industrial customers, but also to the general population.
Thus, in the next few years, Saneg will concentrate on developing a network of automobile gas stations and refueling complexes throughout Uzbekistan.
In this context, the modernization of the Fergana Oil Refinery has become a primary focus, along with additional development and exploration of fields in the Fergana Valley, increasing natural gas production, as well as the launch of one of the largest fields in the Ustyurt region - the Western Aral.
To achieve these goals, Yusupov considers the implementation of modern technologies, as well as investments in the development and training of personnel, to be key aspects of the company’s development.
“The strength of our company is our people and the synergistic effect created by combining local and international experience at production sites, as well as the collaborative effort between people of different cultures and generations,” he emphasized. “We have a clear idea of who we want to be - a leading oil and gas company in Central Asia, whose approach to doing business is based on the best global practices and principles of stewardship of nature, employees and society. Our response to changes in the market and our decision-making capacity should be lightning fast, just as solutions from cutting-edge technologies should be precisely targeted to overcome every challenge we face,” concluded Yusupov.
