Saneg and SIUT Establish a New Academic Partnership with Slovakia's Leading Technical University

Samarkand International University of Technology (SIUT), funded by Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (Saneg), has signed a new agreement with Slovakia’s Technical University of Košice to develop academic research and expand educational opportunities for students at the two universities.

The memorandum, also signed on behalf of Saneg, provides for exchanges of teachers, researchers and students, the organization of joint research projects (including conferences and seminars), and the creation of new training programs within the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies at the Technical University of Košice.

SIUT Rector Professor Yusuf Abdullayev said:

"This agreement opens up new horizons for our students and teachers. We are confident that these joint efforts will lead to significant achievements in the fields of science and education."

Technical University of Košice Rector Professor Peter Mezaros said:

"Our partnership with Samarkand International University of Technology and Saneg will create a solid foundation for academic exchange and innovation. We look forward to working together on new projects."

Saneg CEO Tulkin Yusupov stressed that for the company, which founded SIUT, the new memorandum symbolizes a willingness to work with international partners to raise educational standards, while moving forward with scientific developments and industrial progress.

Mr Yusupov said: "This trilateral cooperation promises to make significant contributions towards scientific and educational development, while providing students and teachers with new opportunities for professional and academic growth.”
