The Italian representative, Deputy Mayor Eugenio Di Sciascio of Bari, welcomed Saneg to the Puglia region and promised support for the Uzbek company's activities. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy, Abat Fayzullayev, noted the importance of implementing such interstate integration and production projects.

The guests and employees were presented with plans for developing the Saneg lubricants business, an updated brand design and related new opportunities to provide Italian and Uzbek consumers with high-quality products.

Saneg products manufactured at the Bari plant will be sold in Italy, Greece, France, Spain, and other European countries. They will also be supplied to Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries.

"Saneg's strategic goal is to transition from the production and sale of base oils to the production and sale of commercial products—motor, transmission, and various industrial oils. The Italian site is working on forming a product range and the necessary formulations. In the future, it is planned to localize European technologies and part of the product range at the FNPP," said Tulkin Yusupov, CEO of Saneg.

Recall that in February of this year, Saneg announced the acquisition of CGC Lubricants Italy S.P.A, an Italian manufacturer of high-quality automotive and industrial oils and lubricants. As a result of the deal, CGC Lubricants Italy was renamed SANEG OIL ITALY S.P.A.

The acquisition of the plant will make Saneg the first company in Uzbekistan to build a complete production chain from oil production, refining it at the Ferghana refinery to the production of base oils and final marketable products in the form of a wide range of lubricants.
